Magnetic Acrylic Fridge Calendars

A fridge calendar only works if the whole family can see it without opening an app. Ours are clear acrylic, they wipe clean without ghosting, and they hold onto the fridge with corner magnets — including stainless steel, which most magnets slide straight off. If your fridge isn't magnetic at all, every board ships with an adhesive that solves it.

Monthly layouts for the family schedule, weekly layouts for the week ahead, and meal planners and chore charts in the same finish. From $35.

Monthly or weekly: which one you actually want

Monthly is for families coordinating across weeks — school terms, rotas, who has the car on the 14th. You write less per square and you see further ahead.

Weekly is for the week in front of you, with more room per day. Most households who already run a monthly calendar elsewhere pick weekly for the fridge. If you only buy one, buy monthly.

      What size fits your fridge

11" × 8.5" — each day square is 1.5" × 1.25". Suits a standard fridge door beside the handle, and holds a few words per day.

14" × 15" — each day square is 2" × 2.25". The one to pick if more than two people are writing on it, or if you want to read it from across the kitchen.

Measure the flat panel on your door before choosing. Handles, dispensers and curved edges eat more space than people expect.

Will it stick to a stainless steel fridge?

Yes. The board attaches with corner magnets — available in stainless steel, gold, black or red to match your kitchen. Stainless doors vary: some are fully magnetic, some only partly, and some not at all. Every board ships with a special adhesive for exactly that case, so it works either way.

      Which markers to use

Wet-erase markers, or liquid chalk markers with an extra-fine tip. Both write cleanly on acrylic and wipe off with a damp cloth. The wet-erase marker we supply has a magnet on it, so it lives on the board rather than in a drawer.

      What comes in the box

The acrylic board with polished edges, four corner magnets in your chosen finish, adhesive for non-magnetic fridges, and markers if you add them.

      Questions we get asked

Will an acrylic fridge calendar stick to a stainless steel fridge?

Yes. It holds on with corner magnets, and stainless doors are often magnetic even when they don't feel like it. For doors that aren't magnetic at all, every board ships with an adhesive that attaches it securely.

What markers work on an acrylic fridge calendar?

Wet-erase markers or liquid chalk markers with an extra-fine tip. Both wipe off with a damp cloth. Avoid standard dry-erase markers on clear acrylic — wet-erase gives a crisper line and smudges less.

What sizes do they come in?

      Two. 11" × 8.5" with 1.5" × 1.25" day squares, and 14" × 15" with 2" × 2.25" day squares. Measure the flat area of your fridge door first.

Should I get a monthly or a weekly fridge calendar?

Monthly if you're coordinating a household across weeks. Weekly if you want more writing room for the days immediately ahead. First-time buyers usually want monthly.

Will it stain or ghost like a whiteboard?

No. Clear acrylic doesn't hold marker the way a melamine whiteboard does — that staining is the reason Girl Friday exists. Wipe it with a damp cloth and it comes back clear.

What if my fridge isn't magnetic?

Use the adhesive included with every board. It holds the acrylic flat against the door and comes off without damaging the finish.

Can I put my family's name on it?

Yes. Several designs in this collection are customisable with a family name, and text is available in white, black or rainbow.

How much does a fridge calendar cost?

From $35 for a weekly board. Monthly calendars start at $60, and the larger 14" × 15" size is $79.
